Whisky Manipulations - Event 30th Jan 2016

Author: Matt Wooler - Monday, January 11, 2016

Our first tasting for 2016 is now up for bookings. This will be our first tasting to be held at Castle Hill's newest small bar Crooked Tailor. We have spoken about Crooked Tailor several times in the past as well as being on the judging panel for a recent in-house cocktail comp. Now we bring you tasting not to be missed.

Titled Whisky Manipulations, this tasting focuses on aspects of how to manipulate whisky or how whisky can manipulate your tasting senses. Exploring both American and Scottish whiskies during this session your will also do a Make Your Own Old Fashioned Cocktail session, discover the differences between a Bourbon, Rye and Single Malt. Explore the aspects of a finished whisky, cask strength and peat smoked, as well as enjoy a house made cocktail on arrival to finish off with some sliders manipulated with a bourbon bbq sauce. Stay on into the evening with all attendees receiving 10% whiskies on the bar until close.

This event will be held on Saturday 30th January 2016, at 2:30pm at cost of $40. Spaces are limited.

Find out more and make a booking.
