More and more people are looking for love online at sites such as Love.Lycos. There are many advantages of using online dating services over traditional methods of meeting a potential mate. The greatest advantage of sites like Love.Lycos is they offer access to a huge number of singles in your area and allow you to find out a great deal about them before making any sort of contact. Some of these online dating services are expensive, often charging high monthly fees to allow you access to their services. Love.Lycos, however, is free! There is a premium service that allows you to use advanced services such as uploading more photos and extended access to your visitor lists. Despite encouraging you to become a deluxe member (only about £1.50 per month at present) Love.Lycos does not penalise you heavily for your maintenance of free membership. It is easy to use the Love.Lycos site.
You set up a profile with a photo (optional) and you answer questions on your taste in music, dress sense, philosophy on life and many other subjects. Your information is then stored on your Love.Lycos home page that can be visited by other members. If they find you interesting they can leave you a message in your guestbook. You can then click on their name and you'll be taken to their home page where you can leave them a message. The way this works on Love.Lycos is great and really quite addictive. You'll soon find yourself with a large number of friends and as you get to know people better you can arrange to meet up. You could even become one of the many Love.Lycos success stories.
