PRICE
2

Total basket cost (including p&p): £135.02 (1 estimated price)
Average on most - a little dear on Lagavulin - no Auchentoshan so we had to estimate the price at £21.99
 Postage a little high (£6.99)
 OK, but nothing spectacular.

RANGE
1

Total available bottlings (from our 5 distilleries): 5
An average of 1 bottlings for each distillery
Very dissapointing range, but they probably have a few more than the local supermarket
Seem to have most of the popular bottlings of the popular malts, but little else

WEB SITE
3

Average speed - almost too much variety and information slows the site down
Very good to use - excellent search and information
Clear pricing and contact details - there's even a freephone number.
Not the best single malt whisky site, but an excellent web shop.

SERVICE
3

The best measure of service is how a company reacts when something goes wrong. Nothing did! All sites were given an average score (3 out of 5) - Tell us about your experiences and we'll update this rating accordingly.

'The Drink Shop' is an excellent retailer of alcoholic and soft drinks - the web site is clear and impressive, and the prices are fairly competetive but....It loses out to other specialist online whisky shops due to a poor range of products. If you're buying a variety of drinks for a party you should check them out.
